Your data belongs to you. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Effective Date: July 1, 2026GymQuest ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile fitness application that gamifies your gym training. We operate under the developer name LevelUp Gym.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the GymQuest app on Android devices. By using GymQuest, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any biometric data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share your workout data with any third parties for marketing purposes.
GymQuest uses the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
GymQuest offers an optional subscription called GymQuest Pro, available in the following tiers:
All payments are processed securely by Google Play. We do not store your payment card details. Subscription management (cancellation, renewal) is handled through your Google Play account settings.
Free Trial
The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges.
We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account using the "Delete Account" option in the app's Profile tab, your account is deleted immediately and all associated personal data — including your workout history, XP, progress, and profile — is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Aggregated, anonymised statistics (such as total workouts across all users) may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked back to you.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction
Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion
Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data. You can initiate this yourself at any time using the "Delete Account" option in the app's Profile tab, which permanently deletes your account and data, or by contacting us at the email below. Note: "Start Over" only resets your local onboarding progress and does not delete your account or server data.
Portability
Request an export of your workout data in a machine-readable format.
Opt-Out of Notifications
Disable push notifications at any time via the Profile tab or your device's system settings.

GymQuest is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
We take the security of your data seriously. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which uses industry-standard security practices including secure token storage.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via a notice in the app.
Your continued use of GymQuest after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
